Plothole-Village

Welcome to Plothole Village, a club designed to discuss Archie comic's Sonic the hedgehog. In addition to plot inconsistancies, this place is also serves as a safe haven for people who have concerns with the current direction of the book, and feel the need to discuss the overall quality of the comic for whatever reason.

For starters, just what is a plothole, anyway? And why are they so bad?

A plothole as we define it is an objective inconsistency in a story that goes against the logic and actuality established by the prior plots within the story. The purpose behind a story is lost when it is contradicted and future stories lose their value when the readers are aware that the logic of the story can be contradicted at any time (or by any writer of the book).

This club is a support group for people who want to discus the direction of the Sonic the hedgehog comic book, especially those that have constructive criticism towards the book. We understand that certain Archie Sonic comic communities disallow the discussions of areas in which the comic could improve. However, we feel that the neccessary evolution of this comic will not come by staying silent and hence this club's existence.  Members can and are encouraged to express their opinions through art, animated works, fanfictions, written articles on the topics of their choice. That isn't to say that people who disagree with us, and approve of the comic's direction can't civilly discuss the opinons of some of our members.

Rules


1) We feel that through engaging  in constructive criticsm of the book, we are voicing a demand towards the growth of the series. Simply saying "this or that sucks" doesn't give anyone very much to work with.

2) Please keep discussions civil and do not bash or flame other members or visitors.

3) People who agree with the directions of Archie comics, are welcome to debate (civilly) our members if they feel a member is mistaken on something. Please do not misinform individuals who are not members (or obviously don't want to be a member) of this club that they do not have a right to (civilly) voice their opinons here. Civil discussion is detailed in rule 2.

4) Follow the Deviantart rules.

5) All submissions to the club must be PG-13 or lower. No gory depictions of blood and violence please.

6) Understand that this is a civil protest.

7) Maintain maturity.

8) Keep entry material relevant. This club is about plotholes and characters who are logically acting out of character.

9) If you have any questions, desires to join, or suggestions please note the club.


How to Participate</u>

1) Note the club asking that you would like to be a member, and give us a brief sentence or two why. We do perfer dedicated members, but we don't expect you to write us a whole paragraph. Then add us to your watch list once you've been formally accepted and then you will be an official member added to the roster. Once you've been accepted into the club you will be notified that you are officially a member. If there is any reason you wouldn't be allowed to join the club, we will inform you all the same.  

2) Submitting art, animation,  go under similar procedures. Simpy note us with a link  of your work. Once someone has submitted something to the club, members will be notified of the update so they can know when someone has made any new content or material (which is why we request members to add us to their watch lists).
